With a passion to provide knitters with a range of yarns to choose from, the idea of a wool shop in Pretoria was initiated in the early 90's. Although the shop is situated in Gauteng, we have customers from all over South Africa.

The business was started in 1993 in the north of Pretoria to provide people in the Pretoria area with quality knitting wools. The business has grown to include a full range of yarns and related products.

By 1998, the range of wools and yarns had increased from 20 to 150. This was due to the customers wanting a bigger variety to choose from, and also the increase of interest in knitting among the younger people in South Africa.

As a family run business we are passionate about providing knitters with the best quality yarns and advice to achieve amazing knitting results.

At Pretoria North Wool Centre, we strive to provide all our customers, be it in-store as well as online with quality yarns and value for money.
